Fractionated Coconut Oil (MCT Oil) - 100ml

Fractionated coconut oil is coconut oil that remains liquid and is odorless, making it perfect for use as a carrier oil for your essential oils, for example when making a roller blend.

The white flesh of the coconut, from which the coconut oil is extracted, is cold-pressed and is packed with vitamins. Coconut fat and coconut oil have been used in the tropics for thousands of years for daily care and healthy nutrition.

In the fractionated form of coconut oil, the so-called long chain fatty acids have been removed, leaving only medium and short chain fatty acids. This ensures that the oil is colorless and odorless and remains liquid. Ideal for use as a (basic) carrier oil.

One of the main components of (fractionated) coconut oil is the substance caprylic/capric triglyceride, also known as MCT oil (medium chain triglycerides), which provides hydration and care for the skin.

The fractionated coconut oil consists mainly of saturated fatty acids, which are very similar to the fat of human skin, so the oil is absorbed quite quickly, without leaving a greasy layer.
