DIY Package - (Body) Lotion

Want to make a softer, more fluid lotion? That seems difficult, but with the right ingredients it is perfectly doable. To make it easy for you, I have put together the most important products for you in a package and you can expand it further with other products from the webshop if desired.

The DIY package consists of the following products:

• Demineralized water (1000 ml)
• Olivem 1000 (natural emulsifier) ​​(50 grams)
• Cetyl Alcohol (co-emulsifier) ​​(100 grams)
• Cosgard (Geogard® 221) - 10 ml

Enough to make at least 700ml of body lotion!

Please note! Add yourself: a carrier oil, for example fractionated coconut oil , almond oil or jojoba oil . You may already have this at home and can use it, otherwise you can add a carrier oil of your choice via the webshop.

TIP! Because this product is partly made on a water basis, it is important to also add a preservative that protects your final product against (in)visible yeasts, molds and bacteria. Cosgard (Geogard® 221) , the organic preservative is included.

TIP! You can also add a nice mica powder to the final product for some color and glitter, for example if you are making body lotion.

When making a lotion, you mix an oil portion with a water portion. For this, both mixtures must be brought to the same temperature. It is useful to use a digital thermometer for this. If you do not have one at home, add it to your order.

Properties

• The package consists of a bottle of demineralized water, a sachet of olivem 1000, a sachet of cetyl alcohol and Cosgard (Geogard ® 221).
• The package is delivered without any further supplies, but you can add these yourself via the webshop if desired.
• The package is delivered without essential oils and (oil) supplies.
