Raspberry seed oil is one of the oils with the most active ingredients. The high content of antioxidants and essential fatty acids is good for caring for and moisturizing your skin. It even contains one of the highest levels of omega fatty acids (3 & 6) of all plant oils! These fatty acids have a strong calming and soothing effect and support the skin's regenerative capacity, for example with dry or sunburned skin.
Furthermore, antioxidants such as polyphenols, vitamins E and A provide a strong skin-improving and rejuvenating effect.
A special property of unrefined raspberry seed oil is the likely presence of a natural sun protection factor. Please note that this can vary per pressing and strongly depends on the quality of the oil. The SPF cannot be guaranteed and we always recommend applying a good quality sunscreen!
How to use
Before you apply the oil, it is important that your skin is clean, so use it after a shower or cleaning, so the oil can optimally act on your skin. Pat your skin dry with a towel and apply a little bit of oil on your skin and let it absorb well. It is best to do this in the evening before going to sleep, so your skin can use the good benefits of the raspberry seed oil at night. During the day you can also use a little bit of the oil under your normal day care for fine lines or dry spots.
NOTE: According to our supplies (Natural Heroes), there is NO complete evidence that this product has a high sun protection factor, as often claimed on various websites. We will therefore not recommend it as such.
