Himalayan salt is mined in the Himalayan region in central Asia. About 250 million years ago this area consisted of ocean. When this ocean dried up, it was left with Himalayan salt that is used today in a variety of different applications.
Himalayan salt supports the restorative capacity of your skin and is therefore a nice addition to your bath or scrub. Himalayan salt promotes blood circulation, providing your (irritated) skin with more oxygen and nutrients.
