What is Argan Oil (Organic & Cold Pressed)?

Argan oil comes from the nuts of the Argan tree, the Argania Spinosa. This tree only grows in Morocco. Argan fruits grow on the Argan tree, these are collected and then the skin of the fruit is removed. The fruit contains 3 pits that are full of argan oil. This oil is pressed from the fruit using a stone hand mill. The substance that remains is mixed with water and kneaded. The oil separates from the pulp. The pulp is squeezed out and what remains is: argan oil. The oil is organic and is cold-pressed so that all vitamins and antioxidants are retained.
