Carrier Oils (vegetable)

It is important that you dilute your essential oil correctly, depending on age (child, adults, elderly) and sensitivity, among other things. You dilute essential oils with a carrier oil. The most commonly used carrier oils are:

Or make a mix of different carrier oils, depending on the purpose you would like to make a blend for. Use fractionated coconut oil as a base and add another carrier oil, such as:

  • Sweet Almond oil, to soften, care for and nourish the skin.
  • Calendula oil, to soothe damaged, irritated skin and small wounds.
  • Castor oil, for extra care and hydration of the hair.
  • Jojoba oil, for acne care or to nourish and smooth dry, chapped skin.
